Dr. Ose is originally from the Research Triangle, having gone to high school at Athens Drive in Raleigh, N.C. He completed his B.A. with Honors in History at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia (aka Virginia Commonwealth University), in Richmond, Virginia in 2005. Subsequently, he completed his psychiatric residency program at the prestigious University of Maryland-Sheppard Pratt residency program in Baltimore, Maryland.

During residency Dr. Ose had several outstanding experiences with complementary and alternative training opportunities including spending a month in Tucson, Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil’s program to learn more about integrative medicine. After residency, Dr. Ose relocated with his family to Fayetteville, N.C. He spent a year working at Fort Bragg, N.C. treating active duty service members, primarily from the 82nd Airborne Division. For family reasons, he returned home to the greater Raleigh area in 2010. He has served in the past as a medical director for both a community based mental health agency and an integrative private practice, Inner Peace in Cary as well as spent over six years on staff at one of the top regional hospital systems in the country, Moore Regional Hospital, FirstHealth of the Carolinas.

Dr. Ose still spends the majority of his time with patients and has received several awards for providing outstanding patient care.
